Eclypt Orion - Central Management Server
Description
Central server based system for the remote management of Corporate versions of Eclypt Internal & Freedom products.
- Secure Communications between central server and remote devices
- Facilitates Deployment & Installation
- Remote Definition of Passwords and/or Tokens
The system facilitates the following activities on Eclypt devices;
- Creating and modifying account policies
- Creating, deleting, changing or suspending accounts
- Changing or forcing user to change passwords
- Provision of remote recovery password and ability to reset a locked out account
Administrators can manage groups of drives and users in a single operation
The system allows offline changes which are implemented when units next connect to the network;
- An administrator is able to configure single or multiple remote units whether active on the network or not and report back when a modification has been implemented, i.e. when the remote device comes back on-line
All communications between Orion and the Eclypt units are fully encrypted
The system provides logging and audit facilities with all activities logged
The system provides the following User Interface Views;
- Devices based on a computer including device status
- The location of a connected Freedom drive is shown in the tree view. Once it has been removed from a client it is displayed under the group in which it belongs
- View of a list of devices showing status (last connection, user accounts)
- View of users that hold accounts, including last known location of device
- Drag and drop user account creation
